Copper Electrolysis Plant Overview
Our state-of-the-art copper electrolysis & electrorefining plants employ advanced technology to ensure efficient and sustainable copper production. Our process is designed to minimize environmental impact while maximizing product quality.
Our Copper Plant
♥ Copper Electrolysis Process
We employ a highly efficient copper electrolysis process that utilizes a series of electrolytic cells, where copper sulfate solution acts as the electrolyte. This process enables the deposition of high-quality copper cathodes from anodes made of impure copper, ensuring a high purity level of over 99.9%.
♥ Copper Recovery Process
Our copper recovery process incorporates a combination of automated shredding, chemical leaching, and solvent extraction techniques. This multi-step approach maximizes the extraction and purification of copper from raw materials, enabling us to recover up to 95% of the copper content.
♥ Copper Electrorefining Plant
Our state-of-the-art electrorefining plant features a series of electrochemical cells that refine copper to achieve purity levels exceeding 99.99%. By carefully controlling parameters such as current density and temperature, we enhance the electrorefining process, ensuring that our copper products meet the stringent quality standards of the industry.
♥ Copper Cathode Production Process
Our copper cathode production process utilizes automated casting and rolling systems. After the electrolysis stage, copper is cast into cathode plates and then rolled to the desired thickness. This process not only ensures the efficient and sustainable production of high-quality copper cathodes but also minimizes material waste.
♥ Copper Refining Plant
Our copper refining plant is equipped with advanced techniques like fire refining and anode casting. Through these methods, we remove impurities such as sulfur and zinc, enhancing the purity of the refined copper. Continuous monitoring and data analysis in real-time allow us to optimize refining parameters, ensuring that the final copper products deliver optimal performance across various applications.
♥ Extraction and Purification of Copper
Utilizing innovative technologies such as hydrometallurgy and electrowinning, we ensure that copper is extracted from ores with high precision. Our process includes the separation of copper from impurities through advanced filtration and ion exchange methods, resulting in exceptionally pure copper ready for production.

Copper Electrolysis Equipment
The copper electrolysis equipment is primarily used for the electrolytic refining and plating of copper to produce high-purity electrolytic copper cathodes. Here are some common types of copper electrolysis equipment:
Electrolytic Cell
- This is the main device for the electrolysis process, responsible for containing the electrolyte, anodes, and cathodes.
- Typically made from corrosion-resistant materials, such as coated steel, plastic, or glass.

Power Supply
- Provides a stable direct current power source to drive the electrolysis process.
- Must be capable of regulating current and voltage to accommodate different electrolysis conditions.
Electrolyte
- Typically, a solution containing copper salts (such as copper sulfate) is used as the electrolyte.
- Needs to be regularly monitored and replenished.

Anode
- Usually made from copper ore or recycled copper.
- During the electrolysis process, the anode dissolves, releasing copper ions.
Cathode
- Generally constructed from copper plates or foils.
- Copper ions are reduced on the cathode and deposited as high-purity electrolytic copper.

Fluid Circulation System
- Maintains flow within the electrolytic cell, ensuring an even distribution of copper ions.
- Includes pumps, pipelines, and filter components.
Temperature Control System
- Monitors and adjusts the temperature during the electrolysis process to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Gas Emission System
- Handles gases produced during electrolysis (such as hydrogen) to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Monitoring and Control System
- Includes sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other devices for real-time monitoring of the electrolysis process to ensure safety and stability.
Washing Equipment
- Used to clean the copper cathodes removed from the electrolytic cell to eliminate deposits and impurities, ensuring the quality of the final product.
