Vibrating Sluice Box
The vibrating sluice box is an advanced gold recovery system that combines traditional sluice mechanics with vibrating motion to improve fine gold capture. Used in small-scale mining, prospecting, and industrial gold recovery, it enhances separation efficiency compared to static sluices.
Capacity: 0-30 m3/h
Feeding Size: ≤ 20 mm
Feeding Concentration: 30%
Vibrating Sluice Box Overview
The vibrating sluice box is a new type of placer gold ore dressing equipment developed based on the ordinary fixed sluice box. It combines the advantages of the fixed sluice box and the jig concentrator, overcoming the shortcomings of the fixed sluice box is easy to harden, and the jig’s high productivity, thus achieving the feature of low productivity and not easy to harden.
The vibrating sluice box retains the original characteristics of the fixed sluice box but replaces the original iron bottom plate with a rubber bottom plate and adds a simple eccentric agitation mechanism to make the rubber bottom plate reciprocate up and down. The diaphragm effect between them is similar to that of a jig. This solves the problem of solidification of the slide grid and improves the gold recovery rate. Since the agitation chute discharges concentrate intermittently, the enrichment ratio is dozens to hundreds of times higher than that of the jig.
The vibrating sluice box is widely used in the field of material transportation in metallurgy, chemical industry, cement, electric power, mining, and other industries. It is also widely used in coal, abrasives, refractory materials, ceramics, and other industries.
Advantages
Vibrating Sluice Box Advantages
The vibrating sluice box offers multiple advantages for mineral processing operations, particularly in gold recovery. Its vibrating action significantly improves separation efficiency, delivering a high enrichment ratio and large processing capacity while maintaining high cleanliness, especially valuable in sticky gold placer environments. The design combines high recovery rates for fine gold particles with robust yet portable construction that facilitates easy transportation and relocation. This cost-effective solution requires minimal water and energy consumption while reducing labor requirements. The versatile equipment handles diverse materials, including various ores (gold, iron, copper), industrial byproducts (slag, steel sand), construction materials (concrete/ asphalt aggregates), and mineral sands (quartz), making it adaptable to different processing scenarios.
✔ Superior fine gold recovery (better than traditional sluices).
✔ More material processed per hour.
✔ Reduces manual clean-up (less clogging).

Structures & Working Principle
Vibrating Sluice Box Structure
The vibrating sluice box is composed of the feeding trough, slide parts, rubber base plates, push frame, rock, eccentric agitation system, transmission mechanism, frame, and other parts.

Vibrating Sluice Box Working Principle
The basic principle of sluice box placer gold beneficiation is to utilize the large difference in specific gravity between gold and sand. When the chute is agitated to work, the slurry first enters the feeding trough. The width of the feeding trough is equal to the width of the chute and slightly lower than the chute bed, buffering and distributing the slurry to prevent the slurry from directly impacting the bed surface. The slurry is sorted after entering the chute. Gold with high density is deposited at the bottom of the lockbox, while sand and slag with low density float on the top and is discharged from the lock box with the water flow.
