Zimbabwe 40TPH Alluvial Chrome Process

JXSC has provided a successful 40TPH alluvial chrome process plant in Zimbabwe. We designed the ore process plant flowchart and plant layout drawing according to ore conditions. We provided a complete set of plant machines to the mine site for plant installation and commissioning guidance.

Solutions & Process

Alluvial Chrome Processing
This is a complete alluvial chrome ore processing and upgrading plant. The main mining process is washing, screening, gravity separation, and magnetic separation.
The trommel screen is a washing and screening machine that can screen out waste material. Underscreen materials will feed to the gravity separation by a slurry pump.
The spiral chute is a gravity concentration machine that can separate heavy chrome from other light minerals, It enjoys a big process capacity and a very good separation effect.
In this process, we just use one-stage spiral, as per the client’s request, because his raw ore grade is high, requiring only one stage to process.
If the raw ore grade is not high, we recommend using a two-stage spiral. The middling of the 1st stage will be pumped to the 2nd stage for re-separation, in order to get a higher recovery ratio.
The concentrate from the spiral goes to a wet magnetic separator to remove iron, this process is also customised. The tailing from the spiral goes to a tailings pond.
The capacity of this plant can be customised as per request, such as 20 tph, 50 tph, 100 tph, etc.
